These three life-sized White Cranes, made of paper, were for a for an outdoor wedding. They are made of heavy paper treated to make them water resistant. This fantastic display of origami, in a garden and moving with the wind, inspired me to find more resilient materials like the copper, brass, stainless steel and aluminum that I currently use exclusively today. You will see this zen quality in many of my pieces. |

The Copper Crane on the left is life size, standing 3' high. If you were to feel him, he feels very stiff but "pet-able". I am selling each life-sized crane for $400, plus shipping. It is simply stuck into the ground with an integral copper post. This photo was taken upon his birth, but notice future pictures where he has aged very quickly. |
